The media are now on to Kane and it’s given Mourinho the hump

And here’s the similar challenge on Cresswell

FMOB

Now Vexed is telling us that Italy, founding member of the EC, isn't in 'the west'.

He doesn't seem to know the difference between, 'the east', and central Europe.

Of course the most shameful episode in Poland’s 20th century history was probably the Communist Party organising the local likes of Coneson to attack the Jews liberals and intellectuals in 1968, leading to the last of the Jewish emigrations from Poland.

Luckily Thickle didn’t hear Hebrew or he would have tried to catch them.

I’ve heard Yiddish spoken and it is a wonderful mix of Polish, German and something spicy, oriental

You mean Hebrew?

Yiddish originated in hebrew, its next biggest influence is high german. Other influences depend on geography; you will hear yiddish with russian, ukrainian, polish and many other east european languages mixed in. My grandparents were fluent in yiddish and knew most of the dialects, my grandad learnt it from his wife so well that he was sent out to the camps to interview the survivors prior to repatriation. Many of the survivors wanted to escape to the west, but they had to go back to their own countries, so many pretended to be french or italian but hardly spoke any of the language. Funnily enough, none of them wanted to go back to or remain in Poland.

It is with a feeling I recognise and represent in language as regret that I consider Warsaw as it is today and what it might have been if the Szmuls were still here, Vexed.

It would have been richer and more fun, I am sure.

Yup. People might want to keep their wits about them at their lockdown street parties tomorrow!

So why would you regret it then? You can only regret something you could have possibly done. Do you regret not inventing a time machine then?

Talk me through that one you fuckwit.

Their last chance for a biggie for a while I guess.

I’m surprised they’ve not done a school.

That must be way up the list of worries for those people payed to worry about such things.

Has anyone noticed that the UK terrorist threat level has been raised to severe?

I am a cunt but I can’t experience Warsaw as it would have been were it not for 1939-1946 for reasons I would say are blindingly obvious.

You are also a very strange little man in your own way, Vexed.

Why cant you experience them Pickle?

Is it because you're such a cunt?

Hammer and Pickle 7:34 Tue Nov 3
Re: Terror Attacks in Vienna
One of my greatest regrets is not being able to experience Central Europe’s towns and cities, including Vienna but most of all Warsaw, as they were when they had their Szmuls and Jaceks. I’ve heard Yiddish spoken and it is a wonderful mix of Polish, German and something spicy, oriental and it really leaves me wondering what that world was like. Such a shame.

So you have decided you agree with me. There's a good boy!

You can get on with being a generic racist now if you like. Have a biscuit you muppet.

Vexed - you're an idiot mate, everyone knows that. You're all over the place here and seem to think the thread is solely about one point you made about an attack in Vienna being unusual. I've not argued against that once, of course it's fucking unusual.

I'm glad you conclude that it's not conversing further though, because you're really struggling to keep up.

I like the way you've chosen to answer a completely different argument to the one put to you. I am in no way defending any religion - I hate them all. However your sharia law stat is absolute horseshit. Straight out of the Tommy Robinson handbook that one. Zero credibility.

The main problem seems to be that I said that an attack in Vienna is unusual (it is) and loads of uninitiated chumps had a shit fit because it doesn't fit in with their Sun newspaper interpretation of the situation.

There's not a lot of point trying to educate the uninitiated. Until you lot have read up a bit we'll never be able to have a sensible conversation about it.

Re: Terror Attacks in Vienna
On an entirely flippant note...

The lead Rabbi in Vienna is called Schlomo Hofmeister.

You couldn't make that up. Or, at least, if somebody did they would be accused of antisemitism.

It's almost as though they asked a twattish neo-Nazi to name him.

As you were...

I'm afraid you're just plain wrong Vexed. ISIS hate apostates far more than they hate Christians, and they view all Shia as apostates. They see us as ripe for conversion and would rather convert us than kill us. Killing us is obviously a very attractive second option for them, but they want their caliphate in Sham far more than expanding in the West. They think the end-days is coming before they'll take over the world. In their twisted view, they are trying to save us from eternal damnation - it's absolutely mental

All religions are fucked up at their core, but very few Christians interpret the Testament as it's written. ISIS refuse to accept any interpretation of the Koran other than word for word is where the main problem lies. However, as a rule, the vast majority of Muslims want Sharia law, and a huge proportion of British Muslims want it.

The problem lies firmly at the feet of Islam,
